Thanks again Windows :) Time to find a good Win32 ext3 driver as the OS partition for Windows will be the only NTFS formated one in my workstation from now on. At lease it wasn't the OS partition, this time. Thankfully the new laptop and the Gentoo install on the workstation numbed what pain could have ensued at the time. For six months at that too.
If anything could ever be open sourced by Microsoft let it be NTFS. Always buggy, always nearly undocumented. Its only the filesystem, after all, it's not I'm asking for the kernel. <cough>> see previous adjectives.
