when having to send it over low-speed USB. The only space I had available was on my external after both of the partitions on my data drive lost their NTFS status for raw. Thanks again Windows :) Time to find a good Win32 ext3 driver as the OS partition for Windows will be the only NTFS formated one in my workstation from now on. At lease it wasn't the OS partition, this time. Thankfully the new laptop and the Gentoo install on the workstation numbed what pain could have ensued at the time. For six months at that too.
If anything could ever be open sourced by Microsoft let it be NTFS. Always buggy, always nearly undocumented. Its only the filesystem, after all, it's not I'm asking for the kernel. <cough>> see previous adjectives.
..and here I've landed. What for? A little unofficial Enqack.net related commentary; projects, programming, and the like as well as other technological enquiry and acknowledgment under a semi-professional atmosphere.
Hopefully some will have a ACK heading in my direction.
